What is Online Professional Learning?
On-line professional learning programs are self-paced, coordinated, interactive and supported opportunities to improve your professional practice and meet your ongoing teacher certification responsibilities.
Organisation of the Professional Learning Programs
Each program is divided into modules of approximately 1-4 hours.
Each module is organised into:
· Purpose / outcome
· Exemplars provided to guide the professional learning
· Tasks to be undertaken that have practical application in the classroom.
· Reflection / Evaluation.
Recording progress
The achievement of your progressive learning tasks will be recorded automatically on your personal online profile. The achievement of the required hours can be easily demonstrated
Recognition
Education Research Solutions is officially registered with the NSW Institute of Teachers and the Victorian Institute of Teaching and the courses are relevant to the requirements of other states e.g. WACOT, Queensland College of Teachers, etc.
The course outcomes can be used as part of the re-accreditation process for teacher institutes.
Certification
Upon completion of the courses, participants receive a certificate of attainment and a detailed description or the course to verify the professional learning.
