·  Articulate school goals e.g.  Improved performance.

·  Identify the achievement targets.

·  Prepare statements of intent. e.g.  commitment of resources and professional learning.

·  Enter the data on ‘Australian Mean’ and ‘School Mean’ and ‘Class Mean’ for each question.

·  Use the tool that converts scores into positive and negative differences.

·  Use the ‘ordering tool’ to rank the performance of the school in each category from worst to best

 

3.     Determine Priorities

·  Examine the ordered questions.  (Worst to Best)

·  Select the priority areas.  Identify the questions that need to be addressed

·  Click on the links to the planning documents designed to address the issues.

 

4.     School Curriculum Action Plan

·  Use the Curriculum Organiser NAPLAN planning links.

·  Identify the questions / areas to be addressed.

·  Note the related:

o       Teaching points

o       Processes / Activities

o       Resources

·  Copy and paste the relevant action planning documents into personal planning folders.

·  Convert these plans to schedules.

 

5. Professional learning

·  Link the professional learning to the Strategic plan and School Curriculum Action Plan.

·  Select from the range of on-line modules. Arrange for staff to engage.

·  Identify modules that may be delivered as ‘School-based Professional Learning Programs’.
