Steps for a Learning Area Plan

Select your learning area e.g. English, Mathematics…

 

Outcomes

·   Examine the Learning Area Outcomes’ / Syllabus requirements- highlight those for you plan.

 

Scope and Sequence

·   Examine the Scope and Sequence.

·   Select and highlight the learning program for the term.

 

Learning Area Units

·   Examine the learning area units, select appropriate units.

·   Modify to suit class.

·   Copy and paste the chosen activities into the ‘Schedule Planner’ at the bottom of the documents.

 

Create an Assessment Record

·   Click on the Assessment Record. Type in the title.

·   Close – save – name, your assessment record.

 

Select Assessment Tasks

·   Copy and paste Assessment Tasks from the Learning Area Units into the Assessment Schedule

 

Schedule Planner

·   Copy and paste from the Scope and Sequence to the ‘Week by week Schedule planner’.

·   Copy and paste to your day planner.
