Course description

·         The goal is to enable you to negotiate the curriculum with different groups of students and prepare relevant programs.

·         Prepare learning programs for use in the classroom. Schedule the plans.

·         Connect curriculum and pedagogy i.e. the planning promotes interesting learning experiences in the classroom.

Modules

The course comprises 5 modules, each of approximately 1-4 hours:

M1. Understand curriculum design. Answer the key questions of:  why we teach, what, when, how, with-what, so what, how well.

M2. Use a flow chart of planning decisions to develop and negotiate interesting topics that meet system requirements. Map progress

M3. Prepare learning programs. Select learning experiences, and resources.  

M4. Create schedules: term / week / day

M5. Choose both integrated assessment tasks and specific knowledge and skills related to learning areas.

Access: Open to all teachers from all States

Tasks:  Plans for your Integrated topic / year / State.

Assessment:  Submit relevant plans to verify.
