Course description

·         The goal is to ‘build capacity’ in teachers to become effective users of ICT in all education and learning contexts.

·         Navigate through the documents to locate appropriate E-Resources

·         Use of E-resources e.g. Interactive Whiteboards.

Modules

The course comprises 5 modules, each of approximately 1-4 hours:

M1. Re-capitulation of process for use of ICT for planning: login, structure, navigate through the contents tree. Select.

M2. Examine the planning document flow that connects to teaching and learning.

M3. Negotiating the curriculum with students. Involvement of students in the planning, organisation, application, and evaluation of their learning program.   

M4. Creating E-learning experiences within the context of Learning Area units

M5. Use of Interactive Whiteboards.

Audience:  Teachers, curriculum leaders and parents

Delivery mode: self-paced, independent, and supported.

Access: Open to all teachers from all States

Pre-requisite:   Use of ICT for planning

Tasks:  Produce classroom learning experiences for   

             students.

Assessment:  Submit relevant plans to verify.
