I keep getting the error message "Insufficient permissions to access Word". How do I fix this?

Access is given to the applications (Active X) by using customised security settings. The instructions are below:

1. Go to Tools > Internet Options 

2. Select the Security Tab 

3. Click the Trusted Sites icon 

4. Click sites 

5. Check that the following address is in the Trusted Sites window: http://sstuwa.curriculumorganiser.com.au 

6. If not, type it in an click Add and close 

7. In the next window choose Custom Level

8. In the drop-down menu at the bottom select the default setting (medium or medium-high depending on the version of IE) 

9. Click Reset

10. Go down the list of options until you find the option 'Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting' 

11. Set this to Enable 

12. Click OK and confirm 

13. Then click OK in the Internet Options window. 

You should now be able to open MS-Word documents while keeping all other security options at Medium.
