Professional Learning
Ongoing Professional Learning is an integral part of the teaching profession. It is an essential part of remaining abreast of current teaching practices, especially the use of ICT for planning, teaching and learning. The need for ongoing professional learning has now been embedded in the requirements for re-accreditation of teacher qualifications in most States.
· Workshop programs are self-paced, so that you can start and stop as it is convenient· All courses include ‘exemplars’ of the workshop outcomes - practical examples of the outcomes.· You can request the exemplars that are specifically relevant to your teaching context. i.e. you email ERS describing your: class year level / learning area / State / other. ERS will then provide you with the appropriate documents.· Consequently all workshop outcomes can be used immediately in your classroom.
Interactive and Supported
· All courses are interactive. i.e. we negotiate what documents you would like and discuss the types of tasks that you would like to undertake.
· You are supported. i.e. if you need help in undertaking a task, we provide the help.
